Wexa.ai: Humanizing Enterprise AI through Artistic and Intuitive Design
How I blended futuristic aesthetics with functional logic to create the world’s most distinctive AI coworker platform.
Wexa.ai is an advanced platform where businesses "hire" AI agents to automate complex operations. Moving beyond the standard, clinical look of enterprise software, I led a complete design transformation. At the client’s request, I crafted a unique and artistic UI that reflects the essence of an AI coworker—not just as a tool, but as a creative and reliable companion
Breaking the "Dull SaaS" Mold
The primary challenge was to build a powerful AI engine that didn't feel robotic or cold. Wexa needed to solve three critical issues:
The Industrial SaaS Gap: Most AI tools feel like spreadsheets. The client challenged me to break away from flat, boring dashboards and create something visually soul-stirring and artistic.
Technical Friction: "Hiring" and configuring an AI agent is a high-logic task that often overwhelms non-technical users.
Abstract Workflows: Visualizing how an AI "thinks" or executes a sequence of instructions is difficult without a structured, visual map.
Where High Art Meets High Tech
I designed Wexa to be a "Humanist Companion," ensuring the platform feels like a natural extension of a creative team.
Artistic Visual Identity: I followed a specific directive to create a more unique and artistic UI. By blending organic shapes, custom futuristic illustrations, and a high-contrast dark theme, I ensured Wexa stands out as a distinctive, premium workspace.
Gamified Onboarding: I redesigned the "Hiring" process to be an enjoyable journey. Through playful palettes and warm interactions, I turned a technical configuration into a welcoming "meet-and-greet" with a new teammate.
Visual Logic Mapping (Wexa Studio): To solve the complexity of AI instructions, I implemented a flowchart-style interface. This turns abstract backend logic into a beautiful, navigable map.
The High-Tech Welcome
I designed an entry point that sets a high-tech tone. Using dark themes and "connector" motifs, the login page presents Wexa as a sophisticated tool that is ready to integrate seamlessly with any modern tech stack.
The "New Hire" Experience
Like meeting a new teammate, I designed the “Hire AI Coworker” experience to feel welcoming and enjoyable. A futuristic AI platform doesn’t have to feel cold or robotic, through playful color palettes and engaging illustrations, I created an interface that feels human and approachable. Simple, fast steps make hiring an AI coworker on Wexa effortless, while the design keeps the interaction warm, relatable, and memorable.
The Art of Productivity
I designed the dashboard, packed with data reports like tasks, tokens, and performance, to look unique and enjoyable. Work should feel good, and that’s the spirit we infused into our design. I believe this dashboard stands out as one of the most distinctive among similar platforms. On the left sidebar, intuitive navigation lets users switch between AI coworkers instantly, making it easy to view each coworker’s performance at a glance. The result is a data-rich workspace that feels lively, approachable, and refreshingly different.
Tailored Personalities
Each AI coworker has its own configuration tailored to its specific tasks. I designed this interface to make it effortless for users to adjust those settings, ensuring the customization process feels simple, clear, and intuitive.

Wexa Studio uses a flowchart interface to map out agent instructions. By visualizing the AI’s "thought process," I turned complex automation building into a clear, approachable, and highly visual task.
