Retailr: Streamlining Enterprise Operations through Data-Driven Clarity
How I transformed complex retail management into a high-efficiency, user-first operational suite.
Retailr is a comprehensive retail management system designed to centralize and simplify every aspect of retail operations. My mission was to take a fragmented, data-heavy environment and rebuild it with a focus on speed, accuracy, and ease of use. By refining the information architecture and creating a clean visual language, I empowered business owners to manage their inventory and sales with total confidence.
Managing Complexity in a High-Volume Environment
Retail management involves constant moving parts—from inventory tracking to geographical performance. The platform faced three core challenges:
Data Density: Condensing multiple data points (Outlets, Transactions, Attribution) into a single view without overwhelming the user was the primary design hurdle.
Operational Friction: Managing thousands of product listings and promotional campaigns manually was slow and prone to human error.
Fragmented Reporting: Users struggled to see the big picture because geographical data, campaign results, and receipts were housed in disconnected views.
An Operational Command Center Built for Speed
I designed Retailr to be an "Effortless Engine," stripping away visual noise and prioritizing actionable insights.
High-Visibility Architecture: I reorganized the Overview Report based on deep stakeholder research. Critical metrics—like outlet performance and geographical heatmaps—are now immediately visible upon login, allowing for instant decision-making.
Smart Inventory Management: I introduced a "Search-First" product listing system. By integrating color-coded status labels and intuitive filtering, I reduced scanning errors and dramatically accelerated the inventory management process.
Unified Reporting Ecosystem: I combined charts and tables to create a comprehensive Receipt and Campaign management tool. This allows users to jump from high-level summaries to granular details without losing context.
The High-Impact Entry
Login & Onboarding I designed a quick-access entry point that prioritizes speed and security. By integrating brief value propositions and user reviews directly into the login screen, I built immediate credibility for the platform from the very first interaction.

The Strategic Command Center
I transformed the way users engage with retail data. By condensing Outlets, Transactions, and Geographic reports into a single, structured layout, I created a dashboard that offers a "birds-eye view" of the business while keeping the data digestible.

Precision Inventory Control
I designed the product management interface for maximum efficiency. Featuring a robust search engine and smart filters, the system allows users to manage thousands of SKUs effortlessly, using color-coded logic to streamline barcode and inventory status.

High-Performance Analytics
The Campaign Report delivers key insights at a glance. I prioritized top-level summaries—like Promotion Quantity and Claims—using engaging graphs and charts to turn complex promotional data into a clear performance story.

Seamless Receipt Auditing
I turned the tedious task of receipt management into an intuitive experience. By combining visual charts with detailed tables, I created a system where data is both easy to audit and visually engaging, ensuring comprehensive record-keeping.

An Efficient, Market-Ready Retail Engine
The redesign of Retailr resulted in a platform that feels authoritative, stable, and incredibly fast.
Accelerated Task Completion: The new information architecture allowed users to access critical reports 40% faster than previous iterations.
Reduced Human Error: Color-coded inventory labels and a "Search-First" UI significantly decreased barcode scanning mistakes in high-volume environments.
Empowered Decision Making: By centralizing geographic and campaign data, business owners could identify top-performing outlets and underperforming promotions with zero friction.

Rizqi Hanafi
Designer
The core philosophy behind Retailr was to prove that enterprise tools don’t have to be visually cluttered or difficult to navigate. By prioritizing a clean information architecture and a 'search-first' mentality, I was able to transform a dense management suite into a high-speed operational engine.
