Columns Rows is an AI-powered market research platform designed to provide elite-level strategic analysis at scale. I was tasked with designing the MVP version of the product, creating a "sleek and modern" experience that allows users to harness deep AI, driven by MBB methodologies, to extract and analyze vast amounts of market data. The goal was to build a platform that feels authoritative and effortless, even in its earliest stage.
Defining the Foundation for Scalable Intelligence
Building an MVP for a high-level strategic tool carries a unique risk: it must be simple enough to launch quickly, yet sophisticated enough to prove the product's future power. We faced three core challenges:
The "Vaporware" Risk: Since the full feature set wasn't yet active, the design had to do the heavy lifting to prove the platform's professional capability. The UI needed to feel "complete" and high-end to build investor and early-adopter trust.
Balancing Simplicity with Roadmap: We needed to create a "Minimum Viable" interface that didn't feel "Minimal." The challenge was to keep the core "Prompt-to-Insight" flow extremely simple while visually hinting at the deep MBB-style methodology.
Methodology Translation: Turning dense market research frameworks into a clean, intuitive dashboard required stripping away technical jargon and replacing it with a streamlined, "search-first" user experience.
A "Future-Proof" MVP Architecture
I focused on a "Lean but Premium" approach, ensuring the platform felt authoritative from day one while leaving room for the product's evolution.

Conversion-Driven Landing Page: I built a high-fidelity "Digital Storefront" to act as a visual bridge. By using bold typography and product previews, I established brand authority and clearly communicated the MBB-level research promise to early adopters.
