Finden: Unifying Scattered Data through Intelligent AI Search
How I designed a centralized AI workspace that connects across drives, devices, and applications to find what matters instantly.
Finden is an AI-powered workspace designed to solve the "fragmented data" problem. In a world where work is scattered across Google Drive, Gmail, Slack, and local folders, Finden acts as a single source of truth. I designed the platform to be a privacy-conscious, "search-first" environment that doesn't just find files, but extracts meaningful insights through a unified chat interface.
Solving the Friction of Digital Fragmentation
Modern professionals spend hours every week searching for specific data points buried in long email threads or nested folders. Finden faced two primary hurdles:
The Trust Barrier: Users are hesitant to connect multiple personal and work accounts to one tool. The design needed to feel exceptionally secure and "private-by-default."
Complexity of Choice: With so many data sources, the interface could easily become overwhelming. We needed to create a "Simple Search" experience that masked the massive complexity of the background data mapping.
Centralizing the Digital Memory
I focused on a minimalist, "quiet" design philosophy that prioritizes speed and user confidence across every touchpoint.
High-Trust Visual Language: I developed a clean, sophisticated aesthetic for the Landing Page that positions Finden as a reliable enterprise tool. By focusing on privacy guarantees and clear value propositions, I lowered the barrier for account integration.
Unified Conversational UI: I designed a centered, "Search-First" workspace. Instead of navigating folders, users interact with a conversational agent that provides instant, 1-line answers extracted from deep within their connected apps.
The Digital Storefront
I designed the landing page to act as a trust-building gateway. By using bold typography and high-fidelity previews of cross-platform searching, I clearly communicated the product's ability to sync with Google Drive and Gmail, converting curiosity into active users.
The Intelligent Workspace
The internal platform serves as a unified command center. I focused on a minimalist chat interface that aggregates data from all connected devices and apps, delivering a "Memory Bank" experience where information is always one question away.
Reclaiming Productive Focus
By centralizing fragmented workflows, Finden transformed how users interact with their own digital history.
